At the market

Recognise common goods and quantities, then practise a short market interaction.

For a buyer, seller or visitor getting familiar with market language. Learn the goods and numbers separately from the complete source phrases.

Activities are teaching adaptations. Source transcriptions remain pending expert review; each card states its source and status.

  1. Goods and quantities

Recognise the market, money and a few numbers.

  2. Build a small shopping list

Recognise common foods and a unit of weight.

  3. Ask and clarify

    Recognise a cloth-price question, a payment request and a thank-you.

Use the amounts, currency and selling units actually used in the market you visit. A Togo workbook example should not silently supply the prices or units for Ghana, Benin or a diaspora shop.
