Choose Show keys, then click or tap ɛ, ɩ, ɔ, ʋ, ɖ, ŋ, ñ or ɣ in the top row. Use Shift for capitals.
Your text stays in this page. It is not saved or sent to a server.
Show keys downloads the preview files on demand.
Use a capital letter for its uppercase form: ~E → Ɛ. Type ~~ for a literal ~. Write kp and gb as usual.
For a physical keyboard, match QWERTY to a US layout or AZERTY to a French layout. On AZERTY, the key at the top left types ~.
Add a mark after a vowel when your source calls for it. The keyboard never adds tone marks automatically.
On touchscreens, hold a vowel to see its available marked forms.

Install the free Keyman app, add the Kabɩyɛ Lab package, then select it as your keyboard.

This is a keyboard package for Keyman. Enabling it in your device settings makes it available in compatible apps.
Download Keyman from its official website and complete its installation.
Download the keyboard below. Open kabiye_lab.kmp and choose Install in Keyman.
Select Kabɩyɛ Lab QWERTY or AZERTY from the Keyman keyboard menu, then type in your app.
Download the .kmp package after installing Keyman.

Switch back to your usual keyboard with your device’s keyboard selector. Choose QWERTY or AZERTY to match the layout you use.
iOS uses its own keyboard in password and some phone-number fields; apps can also restrict custom keyboards. TVs, watches and other devices need explicit support for installing third-party keyboards.
